Some days its hard to get motivated when your show is at night... Do I sit around twiddling my thumbs, or put in a huge day of practice?? Any other musicans with thoughts on this topic?

Such a bummer, was looking forward to performing at one of my favourite venues (Yellow Billy Restaurant) on the 12th of May, but alas I was struck down by a random cold. How annoying! Especially that I had been rehearsing a few tunes I haven't playing in a while, namely Vals. 3 by Barrios, Capricho Arabe by Tarrega and Prelude no. 2 by Villa-Lobos. I'd also been working on some vocals too, especially some RHCP tunes. But such is life. There is always next time!  |
